The location is superb for seeing temples on the west side of Kyoto, and it’s always easy to get around, either via their free shuttle bus to Kyoto Station, or by nearby public transit with a few blocks’ walk. The Westin Miyako hotel was beautiful! The room was huge. The nature walking trail that it has is amazing. We took the benefit of usung their shuttle bus to and from kyoto station. The staff was very kind and respectful. Every time we walked in or out of the the hotel the staff wpuld greet us by bowing and i was amazed by their beautiful art inside the hotel.

If there is 6 star category to rate hotels, this hotel deserves it. The customer service just exceeds anyone’s expectation. No need for you to wait in line to ask questions to the receptionist. There are many hotel staff working at lobby to ask your needs. The room is very spacious with oversized veranda. The Spa and hot springs are must. The cafe Mayfair offers great service and selection of delicacies.
