    Safe, welcoming and comfortable hotel!
I was in Albuquerque for the weekend and wanted to stay somewhere in a central location. This hotel was amazing and close to shopping, restaurants, etc. Very easy to find and get in and out of with the traffic. Very cozy and comfortable. I was traveling alone, and felt very safe at the Hyatt Place. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    Fair 4.0
    Remove from site
Let's start with hair on the comforter, dirty bathroom (shower glass has streaks), zero customer service and an overall very cramped footprint of a room.

    Ok
It surprised me the room at this level of price did not have a microwave and did not provide body lotion.

    Slept ALL NIGHT
I am a really sensitive sleeper and my husband is an early riser. As such, hotels are generally an uncomfortable event for us with the lights, the sounds, the smells of cleaning products, scratchy sheets, uncomfortable pillows, and too hard or too soft beds. This place had NONE OF THOSE ISSUES and we were right next tot he elevators! We slept in until 9am with no tossing and turning! I would almost dub it a miracle! We spent the next night at a fancy hotel (this was a staycation for our 10th year wedding anni) where we slept poorly and were sad we didn't just stay at the Hyatt Place again. I'm pretty much a convert now.

    Poor 2.0
    Bad service and dishonest employees
The room is small and layout is wired, the sink of the bathroom is outside bathroom. The tv screen is cut into half with a post in the room, so we only can watch half of the tv screen from the bed or from the sofa. I complained to the front desk just right after I checked in the room, the clerks told me all the rooms’ layout are the same. But the next day when we checked out, I told the lady who was on the morning shift about the room we stayed, she told me that not all the room are the same layout. Actually I knew the clerks of the night shift lied to me, but after long drive of that day and late checked in (around 8:45 PM), we did not have energy to fight for the customer rights. Also the beds are too soft. Anyway, I don’t consider further future staying with this hotel chain.
