A significant downgrade from my other hotel in Shinjuku for a similar price. Room is very cramped, very basic amenities, wouldn't stay again.
The staff however were delightful, extremely helpful with storing bags, etc. the hotel itself is just very meh

Every time we visit Tokyo we stay here as it’s in the heart of the Kabukicho nightlife. The room is small like most Japanese hotel rooms, but it’s convenient, especially since your luggage fits under the bed. The staff is also always exceptional and polite, whether at the front desk or cleaning your room.

Convenient location But Noisy
Very convenient location. Stay at Level 3, super noisy from the street at night. Difficult to sleep.

APA is pretty close to everything and in Shinjuku. The bed was comfortable but the room is pretty small and the bathroom is even smaller. But I was traveling solo so this wasn’t much of a problem. The bathroom had plenty of toiletries including a comb, toothbrush and toothpaste. There’s also a mini fridge and tea kettle there for guest to use. Bed was pretty firm but when you walk all day, you’ll fall asleep regardless. The room was very clean and they provide a fresh rob and towels everyday of your stay.

Great place to stay - close to Shinjuku station. The rooms are a bit small but the price reflects this. I would easily return to stay here again. Staff are friendly and absolutely nothing to complain about.

Small room but good for location and price
Note that this hotel is in the party area of Tokyo and so it can be noisy and local roads aren’t to everyone’s liking. We enjoyed the experience of the location with its good food and many transport links.
The room is small but that’s to be expected for the price in Tokyo.

This is the 2nd time that J have stayed at this property and I was very happy. The staff was fabulous like they were the 1st time I stayed here. While the room was fairly small particularly the bathroom, it is typical of Japanese hotel rooms. With that said, the room / bed was very comfortable.
My only negative was having breakfast at the restaurant on the 1st level. The manager was not very friendly and kept pushing me to hurry up and eat so that they can start to clean. It would have been nice and appropriate to wait until the customer finishes eating.
With that said, I have high regards for the hotel & staff and plan on staying there again when I come back in a few months.

The price was great for location, some people complain about size of rooms, well!! This is Japan everything is small. If you are used to big rooms like back home then book a Hilton and pay the price. I only would use the room to sleep anyway, I was out all day and when came back I was so tired I just passed out. It is in the tourist section so it is busy area which I loved it, it’s about 6 minutes walk to train station which is very convenient

This hotel is located right in the center of it all, but still remains calm and quite inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only issue is that they are not knowledgeable in assisting with any transportation from the hotel when you are leaving. We had to try and figure it out ourselves on how to arrange to leave, to the point we had to go ask the police outside on suggestions on how to get a taxi from the hotel. It would be helpful to possibly put up some information for the guests on avenues of transportation from the hotel.

Although the rooms are small, the beds & pillows were extremely comfortable & all the thoughtful amenities were provided. Located in a bustling area known for its nightlife, the rooms are SO quiet, you’d never guess there are throngs of people partying outside. Location is great - so much shopping and dining options & the train station is @7 minute walk away. Golden Gai & Omoide Yokocho are fun places to explore in Shinjuku area.
