This was not the cleanest hotel. Definitely wasn’t worth the cost. The room was dark. No light whatsoever. No microwave, the refrigerator was broke. Floors were dirty. The sheets and comforter was dirty. Customer service was horrible. All kind of unknown fees at checkout and they couldn’t explain the fees.

We saw reviews about Rosalia being too packed to attend while visiting but we were able to be seated without reservations the entire weekend! The property is beautiful and the deluded king corner room we had was amazing to wake up and fall asleep in 😍. We’re definitely planning to visit again.

The location Downtown was nice. There's not much within walking distance. There isn't really anywhere to park so valet is needed. I loved the decor in the common areas and the room. I went to the coffee shop downstairs every morning of my stay, the coffee and cheese danishes were amazing. I never needed to request room service, each day I left and returned the room was clean and bed made. The only issue I had was trying to call and order room service, I could not get through and there was no menu or information provided outside of the buttons on the room phone. I had a few issues with Valet. There is a feature to text ahead and inform valet to have your car ready. I used this feature and arrived downstairs 15-20 minutes later and my car wasn't ready. The valet proceeded to tell me that they've had issues with people texting ahead and not coming to get their vehicles, so mine was never retrieved. This is unacceptable. I returned around 3AM one evening and waited for a few minutes as no valet appeared. The valet eventually emerged from sitting in a parked car, expressing he was tired (assuming he was resting/napping). Once again, unacceptable. Outside of the valet issues, The hotel was wonderful.

Great location downtown but surrounded by nice outdoor spaces and parks, with easy access to interstates, as well as River Oaks and Westheimer and Montrose. Excellent bar with well-trained, talented staff.
