The hotel’s location is convenient, being close to Calgary Airport. The complimentary shuttle service to both Calgary and even Edmonton airports is a fantastic perk. The room was spacious, with a good view and two large, comfortable beds. One inconvenience was the lack of in-room coffee or tea options. Having to go to the lobby for a simple cup of coffee was not ideal. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was underwhelming. The offerings were quite limited, with unsalted oat porridge and unappetizing sausages.

Terrible customer service
We had to wait for two hours to check in due to fire trucks investigating an issue. We just travelled from Toronto with many suitcases as my son is moving to Alberta. We had an appointment to go to in the afternoon and couldn’t make it any longer. We asked if we could store the suitcases at the Homewood Suites while we go out, but we weren’t allowed to. When finally we were able to check-in, we asked if we could be offered a discount on our stay as we had to be in the cold for so long. The answer was ‘No, as that was not a hotel issue, that was unfortunate event that needed the firemen to be here’.
