Don’t stay here
We chose to stay at this property as it was highly recommended by friends and family, biggest mistake ever!!! We arrived at about 5:30pm and was given our room number and keys to our room, as we arrived to “our room” we opened the door and to our surprise the room was already occupied with two people having just gotten out of the shower. We were mortified! I went downstairs to advise of what had happened and the issue was “resolved” by offering an upgrade and 2 drinks on the hotel. I was pleased with this and thanked the receptionist for her help. About 10 minutes later we receive a further knock at the door of the room we were now in advising us this room was also occupied and we couldn’t stay in that room and had to move again. They then offered us breakfast tokens which was fine but we had to wait 40 minutes for our breakfast to arrive and was told there was no teapots available so we had to wait for some to free up! We were then given an accessible room which was right next to the door for the corridor, there was no shower as it was an accessible room so it was just a wet room, this is not what we booked! I went down to advise the receptionist that I was unhappy in this room and I was told there was no other rooms available and it was just that one they could offer, I asked for my money back to go home as at this rate we had missed our dinner reservation and was told they were unable to do this and we had to apply through hotels.com! I have now done this and been told no!
