Excellent location, top service and breakfast
Super convenient to travelers looking to capture the energy of dotonbori area. Great location, however after a few days you might get tired of those Instagram "must eat" places. Still, a train station is in walking distance and also other Osaka attractions are within taxi distance. Breakfast was nice, with rotating dishes daily. My wife especially loved the Chinese jook. Of all the places we stayed in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, the Hotel Forza Osaka Namba Dotonbori had the best service and food. Front desk was especially helpful in getting a luggage piece forwarded to our next hotel in Tokyo (of which I highly recommend if you are lugging one around with just extra clothes and purchased omiyage). I recall it was less than $20, so well worth it!

Forza Hotel in Dotonbori
The room was very clean and stylish. Well maintained and fresh. The room offered newer ammenities and was very spacious. A great place to stay in Dotonbori! Located next to plenty of restaurants and shopping and other tourist attractions. I left another hotel I was unsatisfied with, and Forza met my expectations. I highly recommend the hotel!

Perfect with great breakfast
Wonderful hotel. The location is PRIME in Dotonbori. The room is still quiet though, no street noise gets up there. The room is small but comfortable and has everything one needs (stayed as a couple). The staff and service are great. GET THE BREAKFAST. The breakfast buffet is SO good. It has a wide variety of Japanese cuisine (is not all western which is great), is all delicious, reasonably priced, and it is very hard to find breakfast spots in Osaka otherwise.

It was great that the hotel was located literally in the middle of dotonbori. All the shopping and dining at our fingertips! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful! In addition, the hotel offered complimentary razors, shaving gel, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, body scrubbers and more! Super helpful when trying to limit the items you need to bring on an international trip.

Awesome place
We statyed here for 4 nights when we were in Osaka. We really enjoyed our stay here as a family of 5. The room is spacious and cozy as well as the bathroom. We also loved their authentic breakfast. Food was so yummy. Staff are friendly and nice. They can speak and understand English. The great part is the location. Very accessible and convenient right at the very heart of Dotonburi. It is also near the train station and pick up area if you signed up for tour and bus to USJ. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

You can’t get closer to Dontonburi than this! Fantastic location but know that it gets really crowded in this area. But that’s because all the shops and restaurants are right here! Lots of tourists though so not the full-on Japanese experience. The hotel was great though and our room was clean and comfy with lots of great amenities. Also surprisingly very quiet seeing how close to all the action we were. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Definitely worth the splurge!

The hotel is a nice size for 2 people - not too small. It’s located right on dotonburi street basically - be prepared to navigate through many tourists with yours suitcase. Hotel room is quiet despite being on a busy street. Breakfast is worth the money. It’s well located to metro system making it easy to get around the city.
