Convenience over comfort
Upon entry to the room I discovered the bathroom is flooded with water although I never really determined the source. Used towels to soak it up. Didn't make a big deal about it after calling down to the front desk twice and getting no answer( they were clearly swamped with New Year's Eve check-ins).. The room appeared clean on the surface no visible trash or dirt however we did find some gift cards receipts and tags under the table which clearly indicated no one had vacuumed prior to our entry.
The room already had a stale smell to it. When I turned on the heating unit it made the loudest banging noise. I tried AC same thing so eventually did not use any air or heat at all.
I ended up only staying in the room a couple of hours and attended our festivities outside and checked out in the early morning ( never even slept in the bed).
I will say the service and staff we did experience were very professional however the condition of the room was disappointing.
