We had fantastic experiences at several wineries including Vena Cava and Bruma. The hospitality is great, and a visit in the shoulder seasons (Oct/Nov or May/June) will land you quiet more intimate experiences without the crowds, heat, or long waits.

We enjoy visiting Valle de Guadalupe to relax over a weekend. We love getting massages at Quinta Monasterio and staying at a unique place with a hot tub and pool. There are so many options for wine tasting and food, so we like to try new places!

Drive an SUV while visiting wineries - the roads are dirt and rutted - would not recommend driving a sedan! Once you get to your destination, the wineries are beautiful and the food is delicious.

Whole area is breathtaking. Food is exquisite. Just be careful on side roads to resorts and wineries as they are extremely rough and bumpy. Don't take your brand new sports car!

The area has many beautiful resorts, vineyards, and great cuisine. Friendly and helpful people in the area. Really Bad roads everywhere getting to the area, and around Valle de Guadalupe. But, it's an amazing little resort. Well kept, beautiful.

Bring plenty of cash currency cuz the prices have definitely gone up. Some places do take cards but will charge you the current exchange rate.

Still developing and the roads off the highways are rough. Bring a truck if you can.

The roads must be fixed, too many holes and the dirt roads after exiting the main road to get to hotel makes the drive uncomfortable, especially if you have an older person riding along with you.
"We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The breakfast that is included was amazing, the pool has beautiful views and we really enjoyed the fire pits at night. "
"We stayed one night for a birthday celebration. Rooms were clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. The customer service was excellent! Glass of wine and lavender washcloths upon arrival were a nice touch. Enjoyed both the winery and the restaurant on site. The pool was nice with ample umbrellas and towels. The gym was okay; plenty of equipment and free weights but no fan or a/c in the building which made the workout a bit uncomfortable but they did have towels and water available."
