Jerez is a very special city! Lots of wineries to visit but our favorite was Bodega Páez Morilla. Also the Flamenco Tablao Pure Arte is fantastic!! The fresh market is walking distance from the hotel, lots of fresh fruits!!! 30 min from Cadiz!

Jerez still has authentic Spanish feel. Not yet stupid price increases as Málaga. Good for a weekend break. Shopping plenty and dining excellent too, although you do need to look thoughly.

Restaurants on Plaza de Arenal disappointing, best avoided. Bar Gallo Azul in the Fundador building always busy and not expensive - great for people watching. Flamenco at Tabanco El Pasaje recommended.

Friends of ours from Dallas, TX just moved to Jerez and having visited we see why. Beautiful!
"Great location and well kept rooms.
Great rooftop bar space and pool.
Room was quite tight for the 4 of us and self catering facilities were minimal. "
"Everything about our stay at the Bodega Tio Pepe was supberb! The staff were all excellent, helpful and friendly and made us feel so at home during our week. The hotel is beautifully decorated and feels so relaxing. Breakfast in the garden was fantastic and the views from the roof terrace spectacular. We will definitely be back without hesitation! "
"Fabulous hotel and staff. Loved the size of the pool area, you really felt like you were on holiday rather than in a city hotel. Great rooms, great breakfast, lovely Vermuteria for drinks whilst waiting for the kids to get ready. 10 minute walk into Jerez centre, teeming with drink and dining options. Head to Plaza Plateros and start your tapas journey through the town! "
