We showed up at Three Palms lodge to find they had cancelled over booking and giving our room to someone else. They said they tried to call me but i had never gotten a call from them. The commication between the Motel and Expedia must be faulty because there was nothing in my expedia booking to suggest my booking was cancelled. We were also told we had booked seperate rooms for different nights, and that our my credit card ad declined (i was never given an opptunity to pay online)

The room was very clean. I had twin beds. Refrigerator, microwave, dishes and silverware. Lacking... a desk to sit at. They do have one tall chair to sit at the counter with. Also on site a larger kitchen and storage for each room. A coin op laundry (bring you own soap). Lots of stores and restaurant (mostly Indian food) and a McDonalds. The shopping center a block over is a huge mall with all your needs available except hardware. 5 miles from the airport make it a good stopover to and from the airport.. All that said not much to do in the area if your looking for entertainment. Price was right. A possible good spot for hostel folks who want to upgrade but also perfect for the weary road traveler I would stay here again no problem. If not available there is a place across the street with the same lay out but no kitchen to use. Both had good prices

Great customer service from friendly and helpful staff. Excellent shared kitchen area with cutlery,dishes,pots,pans. Stove, microwave, toaster and lockers to store food if needed. We used this area for 1 dinner and 2 breakfasts during our stay. Rooms serviced daily. The only negative for me was that I found the internal airflow system quite noisy but when I mentioned this on check out they thanked me for letting them know and said they would look into it. To end on a good note this is definitely value for money.

The best thing in our room was the comfortable king size bed and pillows. The rooms are in need of refurbishment, probably the only update in the last 50 years was the addition of a heat pump. No seating in the room except for one tall stool, no hairdryer, TV only receiving Freeview channels, but not TV1 or TV2. Only kitchen items were cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, a fridge, microwave and jug in the room. But there is no tap or sink in the room to fill the jug - need to use a communal kitchen to cook and wash dishes. Room is marketed as Luxury, but not in this century.
