The hotel over the weekend was next to some very loud nightclub noises and patrons from those clubs spilled out onto neighbouring streets which was disturbed my sleep the first two nights but it settled down once Monday rolled around. The hotel lobby is nice and the staff were excellent. The room whilst small had all the necessary things for a solo traveller. Room cleanliness was top notch - cleaned and bed made up every day which was appreciated. The breakfast option is great, too even if it meant going up two doors … it isn’t far away and there’s a nice variety of food at excellent service times. The hotel itself is located very close to the ferry terminal and wharf and close enough to bus services and Britomart station which is going through a refurbishment. Besides some crazy noise levels on the first two nights, I didn’t have any major issues. The included wifi was good, too, and there was always the option to buy more which wasn’t necessary for me as I was out exploring the city’s wonderful gallery and museums.
