It’s an OK city hotel, quite basic. The room was very small with one side of the double bed against the wall. The reception staff were not that welcoming, but then it was cheap!

Reliable and accessible in Ueno

Sotetsu Fresa Inn is as usual very reliable and easy. The location was perfect and with many transportation opportunities close by. The room was typical Japanese size. The only thing that annoyed me was the fact the cleaning service would not make your bed if you have anything on your bed, though the hotel informed this policy on a piece of paper, but there were so many different papers and pamphlets, its not easy to notice every single detail. I forgot to remove my sleepwear and usually the cleaning personal would just put it on the chair, but came back to a unmade bed.
