Poor accommodation, staff excellent though.
The hotel was in need of renovation, lots of decorations were in poor condition, rooms were outdated and poorly maintained. The staff were super and always pleased to help, but they were understaffed. The meals were not very good, and the buffet was exceptionally poor. Breakfast was not even continental breakfast. Evening meal was badly prepared and the choices were limited to two types of pasta , fish and occasionally chicken. Salad selection was scarce and no chilled section. Desert was none existent. Was advertised as a non smoking hotel, but this was not the case. Smoking inside the hotel rooms was evident by the smell of tobacco and fumes.
Definitely not worth a four star rating, at best a two. A ten minute walk to the port and within easy bus rides to ischia and forio. Good location but let down by the accommodation. Very noisy until midnight most nights.
