Luxury B&B is nice. It's on a local, residential street, so the streets are not bustling. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to Palazzo del Governo and other wonderful sites. My room was extremely spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Felt like home. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful--provided me with a great map to show where Lecce's attractions were located, as well as a good restaurant recommendation. He also connected me a great cab driver on my last day, who helped me catch my train on time (he was early)! I appreciated the daily cappuccinos and pastacciottos for breakfast that the host prepared. True Italian breakfast. When I asked for fruit, he was able to provide apples, bananas, and apricots. That said, I wish I would've been informed about the onsite construction going on right next to my room early in the morning, everyday. I was hoping to get rest, but it's hard to do that with hammering and drilling and scraping going on! Minus the noise, this stay would've been close to perfect.
