Gorgeous hotel and ideal location, however the matresses were in need of renewal. The springs on the matresses were worn and you could feel it protruding. This was quite a surprise as the rest of the hotel was a superb experience.

Sanliurfa Sweetness
Fascinating hotel in a great area near the main attractions in Urfa. The hotel is quite stylish with decorative paintings and colors. My room overlooked the Fish Pond, a beautiful park area and the castle. Bed was comfortable, A/C was good and plenty of hot water. Sadik, the desk clerk arranged a superb tour of Göbekli Tepe, Harran and the submerged city for us. The restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast.

Everything was wonderful. The location can’t be beat and everyone was so friendly. Delicious breakfast. The only downside was that WiFi was very weak in the rooms.

Disappointing
Stayed with the family in two rooms. One of the rooms had a broken shower which was fixed on the second day but more importantly the rooms were dirty. There was fluff and hair everywhere and the bathrooms were smelling damp. If you’re traveling by car, please beware that although the valet service works hard, the entry and exit to the hotel is very tight and difficult. The breakfast was good and the bed linen was clean. The decor is at best can be described as shabby chic, which is now tired and outdated. It’s within 5 min walking distance to all major attractions , however, Overall I would not recommend the hotel for the money it costs.

The location and view are unbeatable: right in front of Balikgol. There’s plenty of food & shopping around. The receptionist spoke surprisingly good English. The rate is reasonable for the location, room size, and functioning mini fridge and air-con & heater. There are some boutique touches to the hotel too — such as painted doors with hand painted figurines. My only dislikes are the somewhat worn facilities: chipped wooden cabinets, aged bedsheets, old shower tiles, slow shower water drainage, and some rather homemade improvisations such as a hole above the bathroom door turn-handle (not a knob door) to help hold the door in place against the wall — there is a heated towel rack on the wall with a knob which, when slotted thru the hole in the door, holds down the door turn-handle in a locked position so that the door stays in place, without a door magnet or slotted holder. Those are all issues with individually replaceable parts. No complaints about the pricing and service.

Location and atmosphere
This is a lovely and atmospheric hotel in a superb location. Bed comfortable, breakfast excellent. Minor annoyances. Internet off for whole first day...apparently a wider-spread problem than just the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to beautiful Golbasi, the kale, restaurants and bazaars. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms in the 300s though seemingly distant from the rest of the hotel have the best views of Golbasi trees (in an otherwise beige city and region) and the kale which is beautiful at daylight and lit up at night. The vibrant colors in the very large lobby areas add ambience. Breakfast hots were actually hot, thank you, not room temperature. I would stay again. Caveat: the new airport is a LONG way from town out in the middle of nowhere. Take the HAVAS airport bus or be prepared to pay a hefty taxi fare.

Close to all major landmarks, good service
The museum with unique exposition, Abraham's birthplace and the famous fish pond as well as the bazaar are within walking distance. The hotel has a very good and friendly service, a nice common area and restaurant, and a very good breakfast. On the downside, rooms are tiny and look somewhat weird, the bath sink in our room was leaking big time. Another thing to take into account is a VERY loud muezzin in a nearby mosque who wakes you up around 5:30 in the morning followed by other muezzins to whom he passes the baton, and there is no way to sleep through this. In the old city centre this is probably a fact of life.

Good centrally located hotel
Poor bedding. Old looking towels. A/C blew on to bed making sleeping difficult. Great view of castle from bedroom window. Very colourful decor.

Great location
The hotel is steps away from the main interest points of the old city. Lots of restaurant choices including the hotel's great dining. Breakfast choices were ample. View from the 3rd floor towards the mosque and Roman wall wonderful. Great place.
