KSL Hotel & Resort
"Friendly and helpful staff. One of the rare hotels that lets you check-in if you arrive before the standard check-in time. Excellent dining options."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Johor Bahru by IHG
"Outstanding"
St. Giles Southkey
"Breakfast was good."
R&F Princess Cove by FUJU & 5mins to ClQ
"Been there a few time. My go to jb stay"
Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Centre
"Everything about the hotel is beyond my expectations except for a minor flaw in the short shower hose. Location wise is perfect for exploring local delicacy and needless to say, variety of amazing shops in KSL mall. Highly recommended. My booking was inclusive of good breakfast and free parking."
Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel
"The breakfast was very good. The Club Lounge range of cocktail needs improvement. Appreciate long island tea and bloody Mary. The room cleaning is good, but the toilet bowl has a strong unpleasant sewer smell even just after it has been cleaned. Perhaps housekeeping should use detergent with nice fragrant odour."
LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort
"Breakfast buffet - most items are cold - which is a disappointment . Rooms (themed) are very very cool and the gift in the kids safe is excellent, Shopping centre next door is handy for local food etc. Generally juts needs a bit of updating - but great for a 1 or 2 night stay"
Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre by IHG
"Just next to CIQ. Will be glad that you are so close to the customs and can just dump the bag before going to shop in KSL or Southkey. In July 2026 the City Square is undergoing renovations so there is not much to shop so take note of that. Everything should be back to normal when the new MRT station opens that links to Singapore. The hotel is modern, new and very welcoming. Did not have breakfast at the hotel but went to the old town to have my nasi lemak and hainanese coffee."
Atelier Hotel Johor Bahru
"Location is quite convenient. Near to eateries and massage places. Cleanliness of the property could have been better. There is a morning market on Mondays. The property is along a busy street. Can be noisy in the mornings."

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended for discovering the area’s key landmarks and cultural attractions, which offer great value for money. During this time, you can enjoy a range of activities including relaxing at beautiful sites, indulging in local dining, and participating in recreational pursuits like golf and bowling. For those on a budget, this period may present excellent opportunities to explore the rich history and natural beauty of Senai while keeping expenses manageable.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute hotel deals in Senai, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to remain informed about flash sales and special promotions that could save you money. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're aware of any price drops or new room availability. This way, you’re more likely to secure a cheap hotel for your spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having flexibility with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Senai. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing the likelihood of securing a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Senai's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further afield that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less populated neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often superb value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
