I visit Copenhagen often for work and this was my first unpleasant experience. In room 420 the bed is a large 4 poster bed, but it had 2 single mattresses. These 2 mattresses each had a massive dip in the middle which made it impossible to sleep in the middle of the bed or on your front or side. I ended up sleeping sideways at the foot of the bed. The floors are made of wood which means you can hear the room above very clearly when they walk around. The room above me woke up before 6am so it was not my lucky day. The Sauna costs (I think) 299 extra for guests and was only available between 17:00-22:00, so I was unable to attend. Service is good and the fish restaurant and breakfast was nice. Just not the place to get a good nights sleep.

Great find. On my favorites.
The hotel is amazing, it is a treasure of object, furniture and fixtures from different periods and origins. It actually pushes you to ‘explore’ by fear of missing something. Amenities are top notch. Restaurant is great.

Dejligt ophold
Vi tilbragte nytårsaften i en juniorsuite på hotellet. Det var en dejlig oplevelse. Suiten var dejlig, spaen var dejlig, servicen var generelt god og ligeså morgenmaden. Der var kun to småting, der var lidt mangelfulde. Vi spurgte i receptionen om vi måtte få to vinglas med op på værelset. Det var ikke en mulighed på trods af at det var nytårsaften og der var lukket i restauranten. Vi fik heller ikke tilbudt ekstra håndklæder til spaen på trods af at man betaler ekstra for spaen.
