6/10 Good

It’s the cheapest place in the area and it’s run well and the staff is nice but it’s a cheap motel. If this place is all you can afford so highly recommend it.
Ivan, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

A bit dated but clean and convenient. i would stay here again.
Brian, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The view from the room was great!! The room was clean and cool, which was nice with it having been pretty hot outside. Overall it was a good experience at Glacier View Inn.
Nicole, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Pet friendly

Very comfortable for a “no frills” motel. Even had coffee and a TV. Warm shower with toilettries and easy in/out. Great if traveling with pets.
Allison, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Poorly maintained, deadbolt broken, broken light switches, noise and motorcycles until after midnight at adjacent units, no heat, rotted wood in steps to veranda. Food from adjacent restaurant mediocre.
Bernard, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

It took me a few days to digest this property stay. The room is not okay, there was still chucks of mud left from the previous guest and a broken glass in the bathroom, lucky we finally spotted it with the poor lighting. If you have another choice, stay somewhere else.

Limited options in area

Limited options in area, first room provided was not clean but given alternate room.
Damaris, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Beds are wore out. Substandard building, decore, bed covers. And wore out pillows, Inadequate power outlets ,hot water lasted 1 shower. Bathroom door could close if you used a mall. The restaurant opens at 10am so no breakfast. 1970ish establishment !!
Joel, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Paid top dollar for this place all I ask is a hot shower after riding all day. The shower was cold and the heater was a little ceramic heater with no thermostat so I was up all night turning it on and off.
Terry, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This is an older roadside motel with a dated look of wood paneled walls and flowered bedding but it was clean and comfortable for a night’s stay. Bathroom features and plumbing was in good condition, clean and tidy. There is a restaurant on premises with a menu of Canadian and Chinese options with a selection of local cold beers and wines. Our choices from the Chinese food were very good and many locals came to dine-in or for take-out. There was a pub nearby and a couple of coffee shops within a short walk. There is a large parking lot in front with plenty of room for vehicles with trailers.
Randolph, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The place needed some work done to it. We arrived during the dark hours and the room didn’t have adequate lighting. It seemed clean but it was hard to see. A little outdated, but it was one of two places to choose from.

6/10 Good

We couldn't get the heat to work and the office closed and didn't answer the phone after 8:00pm.
Guy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Haines Junction overnight

Room was clean and everything worked. However room needs updating , more electrical outlets, better lighting, and the carpet needs replaced. It was a good place to stop for the night, however when i drove up I became concerned as the exterior look is dreadful. The parking lot is gravel with lots of pot holes. The people who operate the “hotel”;also operate the restaurant next door. They were very nice and hard working.
Richard, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Not worth the price.

The room smelled very musty, and I never met a representative for the motel. The key was left in the door. No cable tv, no type of tv entertainment.
Anthony, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

No A/C, although a fan was provided. Only way to lock the door was with doorknob lock and chain on door. Couldn’t get the tv to pick up any signals, not sure if the Direct TV remote needed new batteries or what. Soap, conditioning shampoo and shower caps were provided.
Susan, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Adequate but poor lighting (2 small table lamps only - no overhead although there were wall switches that worked nothing) and heater isnt efficient. Thecpeople next to us started talking loud at 5am. No blackout curtains for "midnightvsun" always a bit annoying.. nothing awful but nothing great.
HELEN, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Extremely disappointed - room reeks of smoke!

Room reeks of cigarette smoke. I did an after-hours check-in (9:15) so there was no way to contact anybody to get moved. There’s no phone in the room and we couldn’t find any phone numbers. Also, the walls are paper thin. Our neighbors were hitting the bottle hard and were very loud. But again, there was no one to contact. Extremely disappointed and angry!
GEORGE, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

A man who lives at the inn banged on our door and window shouting obscene threats all night. The door would not latch and the tv did not work. We left the inn around midnight because of the threats and slept in our car. There was no manager in sight. We tried all night to call them. They refused to give us any refund despite the threats to our safety.
Anna, 1-night trip

Good Value considering...

Good value for what you're getting. It's a typical 70's style motel in a remote town. The beds are clean and firm, the water is hot and plentiful. The amenities are what you'd expect. Wifi is very fast considering where you are. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Can't go too wrong for the price. I would return. The restaurant is not terrible.
