Could Have Been More Comfortable
We stayed at this resort for one night, the surrounding is so beautiful, serene and peaceful. We enjoyed the great nature, the scenery of the mountains, the beautiful view of the lake and the peace. However it could have been more comfortable if the room was more well kept and cleaner. The interior of the room is rustic looking with a fire place which is all nice and cozy. But the particular room that we were in, was not that clean and when i ran my fingers over the table it was met with layer of dust. The staircase leading to the room was gloomy with dirty flooring.

So relaxing
Highly recommend! Spent a night lakeview king room with balcony overlooking emerald lake. Cozy room with fireplace. Only thing I’d suggest is requesting a top floor room as there was a child stomping around most of the time. Didn’t ruin our stay though, and would absolutely come back!

Paying for vista
The view and setting were amazing. That’s what you paid for. Our first room was dirty - hair in the sink. They gave us a second room which had cobwebs in the ceiling corners. The cabins haven’t been renovated for decades. They were a huge disappointment. The food was expensive and had no taste. There is restaurant in Field called The Truffle Pig that we ate at two nights. The food is excellent and priced reasonably. The staff at Emerald Lake Lodge work hard and at times appeared frustrated. Those who drove the shuttle were friendly. I would only consider returning if they renovated.

Short Trip to Emerald Lake
The lodge is super convenient located near the Emerald Lake. We were able to look at the lake from our room directly. The only thing is that the lodges are not capturing any cellular connections. In the meantime, there was no wifi available inside the lodge.

Beautiful location but could use an update.
The lodge's location is great, our cabin/room had a beautiful view of the lake. The foodwas delicious and servers and staff very nice and attentive. The lake was still frozen and the path around the lake was a combination of dry spots, muddy areas, icy patches and lots of snow. But we still could hike and it took about an hour and forty five minutes. There were plenty of beautiful views along the hike, sumer would be amazing with the hiking options available. The only downside of the stay was that the room was dated. It could use a fresh coat of paint and the door didn't shut properly, it sounded like it closed all the way but we'd always have to give an extra push or pull. So nothing huge but an okay room and your paying for the view.
