Could Have Been More Comfortable
We stayed at this resort for one night, the surrounding is so beautiful, serene and peaceful. We enjoyed the great nature, the scenery of the mountains, the beautiful view of the lake and the peace. However it could have been more comfortable if the room was more well kept and cleaner. The interior of the room is rustic looking with a fire place which is all nice and cozy. But the particular room that we were in, was not that clean and when i ran my fingers over the table it was met with layer of dust. The staircase leading to the room was gloomy with dirty flooring.

Emerald Lake April 2018
We have stayed at the Emerald Lake Lodge now 4 times. Three in the winter and one in the late Summer! The Food is great, the menu could be a little larger as after three nights or so you run out of Choices! The Rooms are very nice!

A gorgeous retreat away from it all!
My absolutely most favourite place in the world! We come as a family to ELL at least once a year, usually in the winter time for the Easter long weekend, for skiing and snowshoeing. We bring boardgames and enjoy the break from the hustle and bustle of school activities and constant internet. After a day in the fresh mountain air and gorgeous views, how wonderful to relax in the open-air hot tub with views of the pristine Rocky Mountains! The restaurant cuisine is divine, and the drinks are delicious. It's great how one can bring back an unfinished bottle of wine to your cabin to enjoy around your own fireplace. My kids love the Easter Egg hunt and colouring contest every year. With this year being so snowy, all the ski and snowshoe trails were in great shape! We want to try and plan to come back in the summer or fall to enjoy some hiking in the area next time. Thanks ELL for another great holiday -- we will be back!
