Sad and Disappointed
Disappointing!!! I felt like we stayed at a extremely expensive Motel 6. Complete waste of money. To begin with the walkways and stairwell leading to the room were dirty.The room was sub-par Mid grade Motel Six. The walls were visibly dirty in several places and thin(took pictures) We saw a few bugs and one large spider. The folks in the neighboring suite were loud and vulgar (repeated "F" Bombs) from Sunrise to midnight. I could probably write a book about their personal lives and provide their Saturday iteniary. We ended up spending the majority of our time out and away from the resort.

The close proximity to resort pool was very convenient. The room and all of the resort buildings are in dire need of a major renovation (still 1985 inside). Many things were broken or worked poorly, sliding glass doors to patio near impossible to slide. gfi outlet in bathroom barely attached to the wall. Carpets looked very old and dirty, but the bed was new and very comfortable. Kitchen sink leaked into the cabinet below. The only reason we stayed on the property was because we have family that live there…and if I visit again I’ll be staying at the holiday inn express down the street. Unless of course they fix it up or stop charging 200/night for sub par accommodations.

Generally i like the land escaping as it was beautiful. The staff however are just not friendly compared to the prior hotel i stayed with. There was no microwave or not even a small refrigerator in the room. For water needs we had to drive out to get stuff. There are restaurants in the facility that are way over priced. Location wise its a bit inconvenient. Parking is far so they will have to assist you with golf car to bring the luggages to the room. Of the 4 hotels i stayed on my 10 days trip was this resort unfortunately. Their pool though is excellent as there were not much people and was clean.

Bugs, not clean, old and very poor service.
Very disappointed with our stay. It was our first family vacation in over a year, with two little ones (2 years old and 10 months). First thing we noticed were the rooms were not cleaned. There was dust everywhere and the carpets and the bathroom tile were very stained. The in-room phone wasn’t working so I called guest services from my cell to ask about the pool hours, directions to the pool and to report the issues we noticed in the room. The issues included the cleanliness, the TV remote not working and the phone not working. However, guest services hung up on me after I asked for directions to the pool (I didn’t get to mention the issues) and then they would not answer calls from my number after many attempts to call. We tried to make the best of it and found the pool on our own. The lack of TV with the kids was very hard. The second day, we got back to the room but the sheets hadn’t been changed and they hadn’t refilled the toilet paper or soaps/shampoo. We finally got to speak with someone and were told the that they would get the toilet paper, soaps and fresh sheets to us. They also promised to fix the TV and phone. I also reported bug bites we got in the room. We were going to eat out but waited in the room all night, but, no one ever came. We had no toilet paper until we checked out the next day. I don’t recommend, especially with COVID and the lack of cleanliness. We called hotels.com to escalate the issues and were promised a callback but none so far.

I booked two rooms and they didn't find my 2nd room booming. After 30 mins wait, they did find my booking. When i checked out next day, i got a charge for another room. This is crazy. No one pickup the phone easily at the front desk.
