This well-appointed hotel is in a quiet neighborhood near the lake but it’s a long walk to town or the slopes; not practical for walking to Heavenly with gear but close enough otherwise. The room didn’t have a practical setup to eat in the room, which was unfortunate since covid means that’s more common.
The perfect getaway! Cozy room with a beautiful lake view!
Some trash left in the room from the prior occupants. The settings on the bathtub didn't work. There were more fees added to my credit card then described at booking or at checkin. Michelle at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, however the man who had the next shift was on his cell phone and neither friendly nor helpful. Overall the room was beautiful and we had a nice stay.
This is a hidden gem. Gorgeous view of the lake. Beautiful rooms. We will always come back to The Landing. Will be even better when Jimmy’s opens up again.
Property was right on the lake. The room was a little small but met-all my needs. Heated floors in bathroom were awesome.
The hotel was right next to the lake/beach. The view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous. My room was clean and the fireplace was adjustable. I highly recommend this place.
Great view and location, the champagne on arrival is a nice touch. Rooms are average and not that clean with cobwebs around the bed and in corners. We went and bought a duster to clean ourselves. The walls are so thin, we could hear both neighbors which is not great for a light sleeper. Only ate in the restaurant once on the first night for takeout, food was cold and not good at all, we got comped for this. Hotel was full despite covid when they are meant to be in reduced occupancy, they turned rooms over the same day for new guests.
Beautiful view of the lake and room, room does not come with a microwave. you will have to ask for one at the front desk, also you will have to pay for daily resort fee for cleaning your room daily which they don’t because of COVID-19, i would try and dispute that charge if possible
It was a good week overall... The view from my room was beautiful and relaxing
I was excited to stay here but it’s basically a upscale motel. Minimal parking and it’s ridiculous to charge a resort fee for a motel. I understand we are in a pandemic so we cannot enjoy amenities but even without a pandemic literally nothing to enjoy. The rooms are small. We have stayed at garden of the gods in Colorado and happy to pay a resort fee because that’s a real resort. We stayed at Harvey Lake Tahoe casino which is closer to heavenly village and all the restaurants for 150 less and the room was amazing! It’s also very clean!! I was shocked since this place got better reviews than Harvey’s. Save your money it’s not worth it at all. I never write a bad review but I hope no one else wastes their money.
