We had a pleasant 2 night stay. The hotel is very clean and updated. Shower has good pressure and bed was comfortable. Great hotel for the price. Breakfast is small but we are not big breakfast eaters so a coffee and croissant was fine for us. The location is very convenient- easy to get to Embarcadero and to Fisherman’s Wharf by tram. There are a lot of homeless in that area though. We have been to SF before so knew this and were fine with it. But folks not used to cities might not feel comfortable. Hotel feels secure though - you need your key to get in the door and also to take the elevator, but it’s not an area where you want to wander around at night.
