Off season is fine but I doubt it's this quiet and nice on season. MB proper too commercial for our tastes but beaches and surrounding areas worth a visit. Especially Surfside, Litchfield, Brookgreen Gardens, Murrels Inlet. A car is needed for these

Love the area. Stayed for 3 months at an Airbnb and a couple of times at hotels. Peaceful outside of main boardwalk and gaming family fun spots. Many things to do. Beaches allow dogs. Very pretty, slower paced, and much cheaper than other towns.

The beach is nice, clean, etc. Lots to do both inland and on the water. We did go carts, went to Charleston (Patriot Point), ropes course, beach days, lots of good food. Overall, a good experience. The area felt safe for the most part.

We were impressed by the number of fine dining restaurants in the area. We had wonderful meals at Thoroughbred and The Sea Captains House. We would highly recommend both of them.

As a Florida girl I'm used to a different beach culture but Myrtle's attractions, dining & beaches did not disappoint!!
"I loved staying here and will definitely be back! It was very clean and the room was very big and had a nice little mini kitchen as well! Only thing was parking was a mess ! We had to park in the parking lot on the other side cause we couldn’t find a park on our side but a little stroll never hurt! "
"This was a great place with very friendly and accommodating staff, the hotel room walls were very thick so there wasn't any super loud noises waking you up, and the place was clean and the beds were very comfortable!"
"I didn’t like the fact housekeeping just walked in on me after I told her just a minute because I was getting dressed but other than that I enjoyed my stay "

"Despite the lack of clean washcloths/towels for the bathrooms, amenities on site overshadow negativities at this resort. The children loved Bingo and Bluie. Restaurants were fair priced and the morning breakfast buffet was well worth the price!"
"Great location, convenient to everything, house keeping done a great job coming by everyday, only down fall we dint like was the pool could have been cleaned better. I choose this property every time we go to beach! Feel safe there "
