Hotel is ok
The lobby was very nice. Upon checking in, I was told we had a balance, but I had paid in full through I was told that the third party booking sites sometimes issues a ghost card and that was that. The room was recently updated, but was very plain. No comforters on the beds. Just a sheet and blanket. Nothing hanging on the walls. The only trash can in the room was the small one in the bathroom. Beds were super uncomfortable. The hallways and elevators could use some serious updating. Overall, the hotel was ok considering the price we paid, but we probably wouldn’t stay again.

Get what you pay for!
Wheather it’s for a day or a week this place is ok! Yes just ok not bad but not great! Amazing views. One pool was closed by the health department and the other pool was not in the best shape, but still enjoyable! Staff is not the friendliest but I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with hundreds of people! Also it would be nice to have had a bar on the property!

This hotel had no working elevators for the entire 4 day stay. Out of 4 of these days we only had hot water for 1 of them. Staff were overworked and overwhelmed with the amount of maintenance. Room service was not offered during our entire stay. By room service I mean, bed sheets were not changed. Towels were not changed room was not cleaned. Breakfast buffet was not a buffet but actually Continental and was so small and so tight that alot of people didn't even bother waiting in line.For over $200 bucks a night this should have been included. Orbitz refuse to refund even when the website description was not accurate. I will not be booking through orbitz ever again. Word of advice don't book till you arive and see your room for yourself.

New owner, so hopefully it's only from renovations
My family is not picky about updates and most amenities, as long as things work the reviews don't matter. If grand opening, why did it look like nothing was done. The parking lot up to the second floor where you check in was tight. The music was so loud in the lobby, I could barely hear the check in person. The room was nice, even if there was nothing in it. Bed pushed almost to the window and dresser with TV on top and 1/2 the room was nothing, center the bed if you aren't planning on anything else in the room. Our coffee maker didn't have the main piece and staff said that people throw the part away a lot thinking it's disposable, said they couldn't help us, plus it was 7am when breakfast is upstairs and no coffee made up there either, after going up multiple times. View was very nice onto the pool from our room. Sign to pool pointing wrong way ans stepping of elevator was not expecting more than a 1/2 flight of stairs down to pool. No towels anytime down there, except when we first got there just to walk around hotel. Twice we had to walk around the building to get to the beach and pool, cause the elevator opened and we got on and pushed the button and the doors closed and we didn't move, 5 times the door opened and closed, we gave up. The music was on til 11:30pm the first night, when pool is closed at 11, loud, I could not hear othe ocean. The next night the music was never shut off, it was not as loud as the previous night, I could hear the ocean waves over the music.

My family and I came to this hotel after having a terrible experience at another hotel down the road and at first it was a breath of fresh air. It was 3am and we were exhausted with toddlers and we appreciated the awesome customer service from the front desk. However, getting into our room it wasn’t very clean. The floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while and there was trash and dirt, even a pair of shoes under the bed. We did not complain as where we came from was a lot worse. We ended up staying 3 nights here but our major concern was there was no hot water. We ended up having to turn on the shower 1 hour before we were able to even get luke warm water. So as you can imagine trying to bathe children in slightly cold water. Other than that it wasn’t a terrible experience.
