Slightly difficult check in, however overall happy
Getting in was difficult for me as my phone ate my sim and refused to give it back, so I didn't have a working phone. The code I had initially been given didn't work and I had no means to contact the company until I got a new sim. (Fortunately I carry a spare phone when abroad) Once this was sorted I got in and all was fine, although the wifi was very poor. The wifi sorted itself out after a couple of days and then was fine. I was helped a lot on the first day by a Romanian student who was living there and am very grateful for his help.
I was upgraded to a larger suit for some reason and I can see this would make a very good family room. The room backed onto the back of the building and is very close to the tram lines, so expect a little noise, however the trams don't go overnight and I didn't find this a problem. It is very close (5 mins walk) to the main rail and bus station.
I walked into Grenoble along the river, which is 5 mins from the train station and a very pleasant walk (circa 20-30 mins)
I would recommend the cable car and the walks above it. I didn't have the correct shoes or fitness level for serious walking.
Just to be aware, there is no washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels provided, so bring your own or buy in the local shops.
I would visit again.
