The Blue Lantern Inn is a quaint small hotel with the best views in town! I was very happy with almost everything. The staff was very helpful and nice ((they have a roll away bed -for free) breakfast that was very generous and cheese, crackers and cookies in the late afternoon. My room also had a jacuzzi style bathtub and separate shower. Only hiccup was the bed. I spoke to the manager and I’m sure it will be taken care of. I will stay there again for sure!! Highly recommend.

I love this hotel. I stayed here once before and enjoyed every minute of it. This time however was very different. I had a room on the bottom floor and it was super noisy. Tons of echos from everything that was going on on the bottom floor. The front desk had music blasting until 9pm when I finally called and asked them to kindly turn it down after they had already told me earlier that it would be off by 8pm. The young girl that worked the night shift was friendly but definitely had an attitude of not really wanting to work (I had called the front desk a few times just to get the WiFi pw, which was not in any of my guest info, and she refused to answer the phone) so I had to get dressed again to go out to the front desk and ask for it while she was standing near the phone but just didn’t want to answer. Definitely first world problems, but a good night sleep is important and so is respect for your guests, especially when it’s not a cheap hotel. I will try again to stay here b/c I love the location and the morning breakfast, however I definitely won’t do the bottom floor.

The views were so wonderful to wake up to and have breakfast out in the balcony. And the room was very spacious. Took full advantage of the deep bathtub with jets. Only wish there was a way to have linked my phone to the tv to watch streaming services.

This hotel is highly recommended. Their customer service is superb. All of the receptions were very accommodating and friendly. We stayed for 2 nights at Pacific Edge with King bed and balcony. Our booking included free daily breakfast, free daily wine & cheese picnic kit. They also provide free unlimited canned sodas. They have a comfy bed and pillows, spacious bathroom, spacious balcony with an amazing view of the sea and harbor. Perfect for staycation during pandemic since it is not crowded. You will see hand sanitizers everywhere. Such a quaint and serene place to relax. So happy with our stay.

Although there is a view of the Harbor, It was very limited. To get the best view of the ocean be sure to get the "Pacific Edge" rooms for the best views. Not sure if there will be a walk path in the future (because of some construction) but currently there is none to the harbor below.
