Nice place but useless for skiing during Covid.
We had a few problems with checking in, but overall, the the place is fine But if you're thinking about staying here for skiing during Covid because the proximity to the Gondola, then don't. The capacity is down to 20% because they only allow people in the same family / group on the Gondola. So there's one or two people in most of the gondolas. The end result is a 30-45 minute wait in the morning, and we waited one hour to get down because you can't ski down. SO the next day we ended up taking our car and driving to the California lodge to avoid this. And then we might as well stay at one of the other hotels where you need to drive.

Location location location
Amazing location to everything....skiing, boarding, grocery store, shopping and restaurants. Having your own kitchen is the best part given Covid and not wanting to go out to eat. Would not stay anywhere else in Tahoe!!

Check in is at 4pm. Our room was not ready. We waited half an hour and then went to dinner. We had changed our room to an accessible room which was very small.

Best hotel in Heavenly Village
This is a great hotel and its looks magnificent, both on the interior and exterior. I stayed in a two bedroom loft suite and you have two living rooms in this loft. Very cool and in the living room up in the loft, me and my friends played VR and watched videos in there. The bed was comfy, the suite was nice, and the view was great. Highly recommend staying here.

Great room, space was awesome! It included 2 fireplaces and a balcony! Only complaint was they needed wipes for the gym to be provided to wipe done the equipment but they did have it taken care of. Overall it was a great place to stay. Stayed for 4 nights!
