Moldy shower , dusty room
We stayed in a room that was not upgraded , the shower was moldy. I called guest services to assist the situation they said they will send cleaners when I got back in my room there was still visible mold. I called again very inconvenient they changed my room and it was much smaller they mentioned the bed would be bigger and it wasn’t . This was a family trip for my sons 5th birthday and I was unsatisfied with the quality of room I understand we weren’t in an upgraded room but they could have changed my room from the first time I called letting them know there was visible mold.

We would return if the escalator and the elevator entrances were working for handicapped AccessAbility for the monorail. My daughter had to carry my walker up four flights of stairs while I had to WALK up four flights. We were informed that these were the responsibility of the hotel.

There is much room of improvement
We often visit Vegas and have been staying at different hotels along the strip but this was our first stay at Sahara. We decided to book a Marra King room after reading the descriptions as stated on this site. It stated "Renovated, new" as shown however during our check-in, Edna at the conceirge assisted us. We were taken aback when she informed us that the room that we booked was not renovated and if we were to request for a 'renovated" room, we had to pay an additional of $15. I showed her the invoice and it was stated in the website that the rooms were renovated. Initially the tone of her voice was curt and her demeanor was not very welcoming. She replied me that we booked from a third party booking site and they are of separate entity. It was really disappointing as the description was misleading and after enquiring about the right channel to feedback such issue with the guest officer, she offered us a Marra style king room which is described to be more "spacious". We accepted her goodwill gesture and everything seemed ok as we walked in but when we opened the mini fridge, we found leftover drinks and alcohol. It was questionable if 100% housekeeping was completed after each guest checked out. There are definitely areas to be worked on.
