The team at Hyatt have been amazing. My partner rolled her ankle near the top of Triund and the hotel arranged for her to be stretchered off the mountain and taken straight to hospital for x-rays. Not really worth it given the amount of money they charge. Its not a huge property- definitely lacks a lot of what an ideal resort should be. Broken dustbins in the room. And theres no point of having a balcony if you’re constantly afraid of fat insects and monkeys. The front desk staff is not well coordinated among themselves- they would often say one thing at a certain moment and then back out from their commitment without a single thought. Non-professionals - not expected from a chain that claims to be “5-star”. Buyers beware.

Das Hotel ist schön auf einem Hügel in einem Wald gelegen. Daramasala sowie Dharamkot (kleiner Ort mit Hippieflair) können jeweils in 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht werden. Der Service im Hotel ist sehr gut und auch das beheizte Schwimmbad ist an kalten Tagen sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt leider nur ein Restaurant. Indisches Essen ist dort gut (aber nicht herausragend). Von anderen internationalen Speisen (Pizza, Dumplings, etc.) sollte man dagegen die Finger lassen.

A wonderful stay in Dharamshala
We stayed for 4 nights at the Hyatt, the hotel is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. The pool was closed so it was a bit disappointing but all the staff workers were really nice and helpful. The food was very good, and the were happy to prepare dishes especially for the kids. Highly recommended.
