Honestly, the place is decent enough, but it's very clear that the Resort is both understaffed and overworked (not the fault by any means of the employees, they're quite lovely and helpful), and the resort is doing everything it can to try and get you to buy things that are significantly more expensive than they need to be. I was very frustrated by the lack of reasonably priced food options - it's Vietnam - I shouldn't need to spend $40 on a meal because there's only one restaurant open in the resort and room service is about the same price. It's ridiculous.
The villa with the pool I stayed in was quite nice, and I really enjoyed having a private pool / the privacy of having a villa. But for the price paid, I felt that it wasn't really worth the money. I don't regret my stay, but I wouldn't look to stay here again.
I'll also add that the breakfast buffet gave me severe food poisoning, for which I've now been five days on antibiotics for. I'm not trying to complain or gripe, but again, for the price paid, I shouldn't have gotten this sick. I'm sure other resorts have similar problems, and I'm not angry or upset about it (honestly it's SE Asia, it happens), but I shouldn't be spending a lot of money and then also be frustrated with the food / get sick from it. They can do better, and aren't.
7/10 overall.
