Room is old and smell bad. Bathroom dirty and rusted. Bed not comfortable, windows not isolated and noisy. The Valet takes for ever to get your car as they park it off the property.
Our room had no shower curtain, towels or face cloths, no pillow cases or blankets. We had to call twice to get towels and missed our dinner reservations waiting to shower. Our sliding door to balcony didn't lock. The balcony had not been cleaned in a while because someone's cut their toe nails out there and they are still there. Also, the outdoor bar, the bartender was terrible to people. Not only was she slow and rude, she was fighting with the other guests on their charges which was her fault. The check in took 45 mins but the attendant was wonderful. The girls down at the pool towels were great.
The room was very run down and were never cleaned the 4 days we stayed there. The room was very smelly and humid. It smelled like mold. Very disappointing considering the amount paid for the NYE holiday.
WORST HOTEL STAY EVER! My husband and I arrived to FL for a few days for NYE. 1. the nonsmoking room smelled like smoke, so the hotel offered us another room, that smelled like paint so badly, we both ended up with a headache. Decided to go back to our original room, and take a shower, only - NO HOT WATER! Called the front desk who promised to send an engineer up. An hour later with three more phone calls to the front desk, still no engineer. I ended up making my way down to the front desk, only to find out that ENTIRE team of engineers are at lunch. We were so miserable there. Oh, a cherry on top - BED BUGS!
Rooms are very very old . Hallways smell . Valet parking takes forever .
We had a great time, weather wasn’t perfect but good, super windy....We stayed in room 343.... all night the windows howled and rattled 4 out of the 7 nights..😫 and you could hear everything! Including the people talking outside! However, the food in lower level was super good! Only thing they have is valet parking which is 20$ a day....and they are not very sufficient getting the car, sometimes we had to wait up to 45 minutes..also, nothing close by without a car!
My stay at this hotel was horrible The tv wasn’t working they change us the room Rooms look old and they don’t clean your room They charge for parking plus a resort fee People were so rude I will never stay at this hotel again
It was a beautiful place to stay. Our rooms were kinda iffy. The first room, 709, the tv did not have any volume. The cabinet doors in the kitchen were peeling and falling off the hinges. And the heater did not work. The second room we had, 409, the bathroom door did not close all the way. There was no daily housekeeping, even though it was advertised that way. Not enough silverware with the kitchenette and then no soap to wash dishes with.
This place is deceiving. It’s very dirty, dusty, mold on the curtains, and bugs: very unkept hotel. I was lied to, when asked where to park, because I never had a good experience when valet parking my car. I was told to park next door parking area by the beach. I paid $39.50 for 8hours, the next day with 30mins remaining I got a ticket for $62.00 by the city, when I told the Ramada about my ticket; the receptionist which was sweet told me “the valet personnel should’ve never offered you that option, it’s only for 4 hours of parking for beach goers”. Thank goodness it’s not an actual violation so it won’t affect my license, but still! The Ramada is quick to deduct money out of your account so beware. I checked in on Monday and checked out Tuesday morning I could not take the smell and uncleanliness of the room mind you they switch me rooms to a better, but the better room was worse!... I was to stay for 5 days and checked out the next day and they still deducted the amount for the 5 days, i have a receipt stating I only stayed the one night; so why deduct the whole amount and i am still waiting for my refund.. it’s a shame! I’ve stayed in different hotels in the sunny Isles beach area before and always satisfied!! So what happened Ramada of Sunny isles beach? Just being on the beach does not give you the right to false advertise, keep a dirty hotel, and lie to your customers! And your Valet people need to relax and stop demanding car keys when you’re just unloading your bags!
Upon arrival, we were greeted by valet and was told that there was a required valet parking at an additional charge of $20 a night along with a $15 a night resort fee. Very disappointed. The rooms were so dusty everyone in the room could not stop sneezing. It’s like they don’t clean the vents.
