While the service and staff were excellent! Some things could/should have been done better: 1. The wifi was sketchy all week. Sometimes I just gave up. 2. The room was small (380sf). 3. In the room it’s very chic - to the detriment of function. No headboard on the bed, very little room in bathroom, a cool, shallow sink that hardly drains. On the other hand, a shower that would fit 4 comfortably. 4. Valet parking only (but always attentive).
We loved staying at the Andaz Maui. The staff was top notch and so friendly and accommodating. We had chosen a room overlooking the property expansion for a less expensive rate so we understood there might be some construction noise. The only time it was even slightly bothersome was in the morning. They did not work in the evenings or on the weekend and you could not hear the noise in any of the other areas. We loved all the pool options and easy access to the beach. Would stay again!
My trip to Wailea and the Andaz was awesome. The hotel is beautiful and the service was excellent.
Beautiful safe and clean. Lots of extras in the room stocked daily. Took advantage of their car service for nights out on the town.
We had a garden “resort view” room that opened to a small garden patio, behind which was a thin row of foliage hiding a chain link fence blocking VERY noisy construction. Room was great but 9-5 jackhammering was not conducive to peaceful baby naps. No construction on the weekend so that was a bonus, but for $700 a night my family wasn’t thrilled. You’re not gonna spend much time in your room here, but be warned if you’re travelling with a baby or enjoy your afternoon siestas. Aside from that, resort is amazing.
I loved the ease of everything. The store was a bit sparse on a few things.
About as good as it gets. Staff were incredible. Architecture is beautiful and the grounds and multiple pools just superb. Price is high but reflects the quality.
Everything about the Andaz was fantastic. My wife and i call it our home, and for good reason, the staff and grounds just fit so perfectly.
Did not have a coffee maker in the room but did have a high end espresso machine.
Great beach and beach crew.Good restaurants but pricey.Rooms were nice.Could use more closet space. Overall a great place.
