Highlights of The DePaul Art Museum
The permanent collection includes almost 3,000 works, ranging from a 16th-century Madonna and Child painting to recent paintings up to 2016. As you explore the museum, you'll see beautiful photos, drawings, paintings, sculptures, and more. Featured artwork includes local artists, social justice works, and international art from Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
You can view objects depicting more than 50 ethnic groups from Africa, including sculptures, wooden masks, and objects used in rituals and ceremonies. You'll also find an extensive collection of architectural drawings, Chicago imagists, WPA Printmaking/Needles Collection, Polish posters, Latin-American art, the Thurow Collection of Chicago Art, and photos from the Institute of Design.

The DePaul Art Museum is located in Lincoln Park, near the Fullerton CTA Brown/Red/Purple Line Station and the Fullerton #74 and Sedgwick #37 bus stops. If you're driving, you can find limited free street parking nearby, and the museum will validate parking at The Whole Foods garage on N. Sheffield Street.
Nearby, you may be able to catch a show at Victory Gardens or Apollo Theatres. The North Pond Nature Conservatory is also close and offers a pond, native trees, wildflowers, and diverse bird species for guests to enjoy.
