Housed in The Old Police and Fire Station in city centre Coral Gables, The Coral Gables Museum shines a spotlight on the 1920s planned community, nicknamed the City Beautiful. After the restoration and renovation of the historic building, the cultural organisation opened in 2011 to celebrate the civic arts of architecture and urban environmental design.

Through the museum’s enriching programming, exhibitions, and events, visitors from near and far gain a better sense of the cultural impact and historic landscape of Coral Gables. Along with the historic building, the museum is on the National Register of Historic Places and features additional galleries and outdoor spaces.
