The Grande Roue de Marseille is a massive Ferris wheel and popular tourist attraction for all ages. The Grande Roue de Marseille, or Great Wheel of Marseille, is relocated according to the season. For years, its sole location was in the Vieux-Port, or the Old Port, but recently, the amusement ride also moved to another locale, the Escale Borély.

Typically, the Grande Roue de Marseille is in the Quai de la Fraternitie in the Old Port during the winter months, and in Escale Borély during the summer. Regardless of when you visit, you'll always have excellent panoramic views year-round, making it easy for passengers to spot landmarks, such as the Notre Dame de la Garde.

No visit to the oldest city in France is complete without taking a ride on the Grande Roue de Marseille. Since its opening, it has animated the Old Port and the Escale Borély beach. Operating day into night, visitors can enjoy a unique vantage point of the city from high above, and the Ferris wheel is fantastic for watching the sunset.
