A hidden gem just off the M6
We’ve stayed here several times as a stop off on our way north using the M6. It’s always welcoming, comfortable and usually quiet (just once there was a wedding there but it didn’t interfere with our stay). The individually ordered breakfast is the best we’ve come across. The evening meal offers variety and nothing is too much trouble. The gardens provide a lovely walk and photo opportunities.

Really nice place. Stayed in the "Bluebell" room. Was disappointed to see the condition of the paintwork surrounding the light fitting by the wardrobe; doesn't scream "4 star hotel".
