Great location!
This hotel buildings are extensive and attractive, and it is in a wonderful location, one of its best attributes. It overlooks the main town toward the mountains. There's a great view from the terrace and dining room of the chateau and medieval city. Reception staff are welcoming and helpful. Facilities are good, with plenty of space, lovely grounds, a lift and lots of parking. There is also a pool, bowling, tennis, etc. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds to ensure a good night's sleep. Ours even had a sink, cooker (which we didn't use) and a fridge. The breakfast is great, plentiful and with lots of choice.

Good for visiting Vaison-la-Romaine and area
A good location for visiting the town and surrounding area. Near the old town - an easy walk (uphill a bit on the way back). Good parking. Spacious room and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Meals were fine and reasonably priced.

Really enjoyable stay and good value
A really enjoyable stay with welcoming staff. This was a return visit and we are just as impressed as before, especially with the location. The hotel is high above the centre, in a quiet location, with a lovely terrace overlooking the chateau and old town over to the mountains beyond. Rooms are comfortable and the facilities suit us very well, with free on site parking, Wi-fi and happy for us to bring our small dog.

Nice hotel with excellent views!
Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed when we stayed but it was only a 10 minute walk to the nearest ones. Good experience and would recommend for singles, couples and families alike.

Great location
A lovely stay in a superb location. The hotel is high up and from the terrace and restaurant there are great views of Vaison-La-Romaine and over to the mountains. It is very close to the chateau and the medieval town. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the breakfast is very good. Parking is plentiful and there are activities available, eg the outdoor pool and games areas.

Good stay for a group of 9 cyclists
Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Only downside was that the bar is closed from 12 till 16h and also closes at 22h. Good parking place.

Beautiful view but no service.
The hotel location had a beautiful view of the town but we booked for a chateau view and paid extra for it but only got a view of the parking. Then when we asked to get a refund for our upgrade they said we have to call a separate number to complain and ask... other than that it was ok!

WOW Balcony with a Million dollar view
Although difficult to locate by car, once we remembered it was on the upper hill and found small signs leading the way we were delighted with the location and look of this hotel. The grounds are lovely and the views spectaular. The apartment was large with a fair sized kitchen and good air conditioning. It had a huge balcony looking up at the castle as the sunset. WOW! I painted it. Great hotel, lovely indoor/outdoor dining with very good breakfast, dinner was fair. Staff was helpful. The only draw back was the shabby hallways could use new carpeting. We would definately stay there again.

Close to medieval city
Walk to medieval city. The main town is further away. The place is OK but needs to be updated. It was almost empty and my room looked into the garage. Really only 2 star. Breakfast was pricey but OK.

Very friendly and helpful staff, but like many French hotels, it closes in the afternoon until 4pm, so don't arrive too early

Lovely location. Close walk to the medieval city.
I did not have a positive experience, as was part of a choir group, but did not get the group package. Found this out at the very last minute. Was made to pay for our breakfast, when breakfast was supposed to be included. So we wound up missing out on 9 days of breakfast that was supposed to be included, and had to fend for ourselves. An unexpected added expense. A lot of miscommunication. The internet/WiFi was unpredictable and thus I was unable to post any of the good things about our trip. All that being said, the staff were lovely and the room was neat and clean.

Nice hotel just a little hike up from chateaux
Nice quiet location in the upper city. I liked the view from the garden on the property...great space. Nice pool, nice breakfast. Our room was just fine, no view but great otherwise. Checking in was delayed by 30 minutes as hotel was full previous night. They provided us a complimentary beverage in the lobby- nice touch.

Good Location
The location of the hotel is great. It is on the upper side of town and overlooks the village below. The view is fantastic. Unlike many other hotels we stayed at in the South of France, it had a pool which is really nice given how hot it can get in the summer. The hotel itself can use some renovations. It is old and from what I gathered, is a converted apartment building. At night it gets eerily quiet and is very dark as the hotel turns off all lights including in the hallways and stairwells. My wife was actually scared to venture out by herself after dark. The rooms are a decent size (compared to NY or Paris standards). The a/c worked really well. In fact, my wife was always complaining about how cold the room was but I loved it as it can get super hot in the South of France. The staff spoke very little English, comparatively speaking to the rest of the south of France. All in all, it is like an older motel in a small town. As long as you don't expect too much, you'll be fine.

An Old Hotel that Needs Maintenance!
The picture of the hotel looked cheerful and I reserved two rooms for two nights..but it was pretty difficult to find the hotel, mainly since the colors of the sign was changed closer to the hotel...first many hotel signs were written in white on brown, easy to see while driving...then we lost the sign and got lost...later we found out that it was a sign at the bottom, in green! The shower head hook was missing, so we need to take showers by holding the shower head! The radiators needed painting. The backside of the hotel looked completely deserted and not maintained. The bed was comfortable..

Four days in Provence
Great hotel, friendly helpful staff. The only recommendation I can make is a need for better indications to finding the hotel. The view from the restaurant is amazing. I highly recommend this place for a romantic stay in Provence.

Great Hotel for Vaison la Romaine.
This is a nice hotel with newly remodeled rooms, although the outside and common areas are a little shabby still. There is parking which is nice. And the view of the castle is great. It is kind of hard to find up on the hill also, but we did it. The sights and ruins in Vaison la Romaine are not to be missed and this hotel is a great place to stay with a reasonable price.

Great View (of the scenery)
Amazing location overlooking the beautiful city of Vaison-La-Romaine. Unfortunately, that's all I have to recommend it to you. The hotel is very dated and could do with significant updating of its facilities. The rooms are ok in size but the bathroom was very drab and well worn with no window or extractor fan at all. The shower over the bath had no fixing so could only be used freehand and there was no curtain or screen. The towels were like used dishcloths, clean....but not nice to use. The bed itself was unbelievably hard (and I like a hard bed!) and the pillows might just as well not have been there. We paid an additional amount for breakfast and that was ok and at least the staff were very friendly and helpful.
