Great stay in Chester
I was only in Chester for one evening and I had stayed at the Abode before. The views from the restaurant are great and my room was a basic room but was very good. Fantastic powerful shower and had great soaps and nice fluffy towels. Soundproofing to outside was also very good. Staff great and very helpful.

We had a lovely time visiting Chester for the first time, the hotel was lovely , prime location and modern. Unfortunately the breakfast service was a bit of a let down. Waited a very long time to be seated we were the only ones waiting, warm drinks arrived with no milk, had to ask for some later, didn’t seem any organisation the staff so much so we did not go for our breakfast on the Sunday which was a shame seen as tho this was paid for

Nice but better hotels in chester.
The hotel was in a good location and was nice, but after staying at other hotels in chester I wouldn't say it was the best if staying with children. The pull out sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable compared to other sofa/put up beds. The breakfast was nice, but the service seemed a bit disorganised at times. Parking at the hotel was a bonus.

Stay was ok..
Receptionist was a little rude. Room was worn down and old fashioned. It was supposed to be a ‘desirable’ room but left a lot to be desired but the bed was comfy enough. Waited over 20 minutes to be seated for breakfast and staff were muttering under their breath in annoyance and stomping around slamming items down - when they spoke to you they were friendly enough. Breakfast was really good when we eventually had it. Overpriced - wouldn’t stay there again.

Tired and dated
The place generally was a bit tired. We booked the delux room and the bed was 2 singles pushed together which wasnt great. Id expect at the minimum a double bed if not a king size. There was thick layers of dust on the lamps and the decor was tired. The sockets were poorly placed and there was no where charge your phone near the bed. Overall i would say our stays in premier inns were alot better. The bathrooms were tired and have a shower over bath which again was tired woth poor finishes. Thr location was good thats the only real positive.
