Not a great experience
My check in experience set the trip off to a bad start. It said 4pm. I arrived at 4:30pm and my room was still not ready. I had to wait another 30 mins after driving 5 hours from Toronto. As compensation they only comped me 1 night of parking. I was staying 4 nights. I was not happy about that. I needed a trolley for my bags. The front desk told me to go over the hotel next door to get one myself. Nobody was there to help at all. There are only 2 elevators and only 1 goes down to the parking area. In the mornings you have to wait for the elevators for several minutes. The breakfast they provide is not edible. I know you can't expect much for continental breakfasts but this is Montreal. The food is exceptional everywhere else. The room was dark and I figured out why..because it was so dirty. Underneath the bed and furniture was disgusting. The carpet was stained and not clean at all. I was surprised with the location. My kids got to see up close homeless people fighting on our way to eat breakfast. Not happy.

This place is good value in an excellent location. Rooms are dated, but clean. We had a 2-bedroom apartment, heaps of space. Breakfast was on pretty good. Unfortunately, we found the front desk staff quite rude.

Wonderful Hotel
Wonderful location - walking distance to Old Montreal, the village, shopping, Christmas market. The room was so big - kiitchenette, large bedroom, a second room with couch & TV. A full breakfast was included every day. We will absolutely stay here again!

Convenient to Quartier de Spectales and Christmas Market. Outdated amenities but clean. Wear and tear on caulking around tub, stained carpets, only one working elevator. We found a dried contact on the nightstand so obviously dusting is not a priority.

Ok place.
Spacious room. Pretty clean, not perfect. Well located. Included breakfast was great (eggs, sausages, etc.).The staff is friendly. Extra safety measures to insure no intruders in hotel (not in a dangerous neighborhood per say but downtown areas are what they are). Sofa beds are not comfortable at all. No drapes/pillows/blanket in room when we arrived. Staff quickly brought everything when asked but they should definitely change these cheap blankets… Ok stay. Ok price.

Kinchen lady not gentle
The photos in the app to book the hotel do not match the hotel... the carpets are a little worn with time... in the 3 nights I was there I never went down to breakfast but on the last day I went down at 6am to have a coffee with toast and a short, blonde, old lady was very rude when she saw me there... not at all recommended the service of the people in the kitchen

Intense Check-In
This was our second time staying and the lobby was much cleaner than it had been on our first visit. The bedsheets appeared to be brand new which was appreciated. Although the doors, baseboards, and bathroom appear worn, they were clean. We were taken aback, however, by the clerk who checked us in because although professional and efficient, she came across as abrupt and unfriendly. Not characteristics generally expected or valued in front desk staff.
