Highly recommend
This hotel was the best one on the trip. Separate, large rooms and large bathroom. Great location, right across the bridge from Osaka-Jo park and its train station. The coolest view of Osaka Castle! Looks great at night too. Lots of lovely amenities and services included, would recommend getting your welcome drinks and breakfast drinks. As well as heading up to the bar for your free drink and wonderful view of the city. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of coin laundry within the building or nearby, however everything else was easily within reach.

International in Osaka
I have two nights trip in Osaka for my business and I have stayed in this hotel because close by to all of the meetings. I was surprised I cannot enter the coffee in the lobby because I’m not Japanese it’s only for Japanese and when I ask for coffee they says to me go around the corner to 7-11 convenience I felt not comfortable and I feel some people there racist.

처음인 일본 여행의 첫 일본 호텔 뉴오타니 오사카 방이 그리 크지는 않았지만 깔끔하고 5성급 호텔로써 서비스 용품들은 부족하지 않았습니다. 조금 아쉬운 점이 있었다면 4박 하는 동안 청소를 한 번쯤은 해줄만도 한데 수건이나 물 비누 등 서비스 용품만 갈아주고 청소는 전혀 해 주지를 않더라고요. ^^;; 그 이외에는 모든 것이 다 만족합니다.

Wonderful!
Excellent hotel with amazingly helpful staff. Very spacious rooms with all the amenities you need. The staff from checkin, bell and housekeeping was excellent in their customer service. The staff in the frontline all spoke perfect English. Everyone was so helpful and truly took pride in their hotel and job. The hotel itself is beautiful and the service is exceptional. Not recommended if wishing to travel around Osaka.
This is hotel is a very large American style 5* hotel which is extremely dated. The hotel is near the concert hall and Osaka Castle but is a long way from the centre of Osaka. We were given a smoking room when we asked to change we were charged to change rooms. We spent very little time in hotel due to its location when we left early morning we stayed out all day which isn’t ideal a centrally located hotel would be much better. The staff were polite but didn’t care much for tourists.

Not par with 5 star standards
I guess property tried to potray heritage and legacy of Otani as a brand, however the quality of mattress, food and prices are not matching to the 5 star standards. Least expectstions from the guests is to be served with drinking water as per their requirement at the room. One 500ml water per person per day and any requests for water is demanded for additional cost of 350 Yen for 500ml water bottle.
