The parking is the most wonkiest ever! It's behind the property and very cramped. They sometimes have a staff member helping with parking out there. Very good location once you figure out where to check in park and get to your room which is kind of an ordeal to stay is good a bit confusing where to find the elevator and can get turned around easy. No free breakfast. I wasn't told about anything around me like the people in front of me were thank God for Yelp

2/10 Poor

Dirty Dirty Dirty
I am absolutely unsure why the health department has not shut this hotel down. From entry to exit nothing I witnessed was clean. AND, the condition of the hotel would not allow the place to be cleaned any how. The carpets were stained and complety worn out. The remainder of the flooring showed years of wear and grime. The outside hand rails and walkways were sticky from beer and sodas. the elevator to the 3rd floor was plain nasty. You had to take it to the 3rd floor, walk thru the building to the outside walkway, get on a 2nd elevator to take you higher whic was awful also. The beds were clean, but room carpets just plain nasty. bathrooms had painted porcelin which was peeling off. Balcony doors did not have locking mechanisms and were again dirty and sticky The restaurant was closed due to hurricane damage. There was a damp odor throughout the facility. There is a massive amount of rust and dirt build up.

Hot water not so hot.
Lukewarm hot water, mandatory fee for a safe that did not work. Nevertheless, the bed was comfortable, the ocean is right there, and the pool was nice. Only stayed one night, so it was worth the heavily-discounted price.

2/10 Poor

I normally don’t write reviews except when there is something exceptionally wonderful, but felt the need to in this case. The pictures are not of recent times. They may be from many years ago. This place did it have any restaurant, but honestly I wouldn’t eat there if it did based on how dirty and unkept the whole place was. The bar in front was closed and had tattered and torn roof cloths, the carpeting in the room was torn all over and stained. The bedding was as stained…. We had to walk all the way around to stay away from the homeless men sleeping on the stairs. The front had an attached walk up liquor store that sold beer by the can which drew different clientele there. I can go on and on, but u hope this is enough to give a better indication of what to expect (or avoid).

Disappointed
We were supposed to have a King non smoking room. We got two Full size beds. They said there was not any Kings available. WE RESERVED A KING!! Whats the point of a reservation if you can’t get what you reserve!!! Pictures are deceiving as well.

YIKES!!!
We arrived and checked in, but IMMEDIATELY went back to check out. This property is unfortunately a "by the hour" hotel. Room smelled of mold, dried urine on porcelain rim of toilet, one wall painted purple but with large white plaster repairs, walls were stained. This pace was probably amazing in the 60's and the pictures posted showed a nice bar and what appeared to be a decent room. The bar is closed and the rooms leave MUCH to be desired. We ended up just going to our event and figuring out what to do for our one night trip away from home.

Super dated, super creepy. Everything from parking lot to doors to bathroom to elevators, you name it. It all needs a remodel.

Hotel used bait photos of years past. Awful now.
Booked as a safe haven to run to from Hurricane Milton Oct. 2024. Saw photos on this site and saw the reasonable price quoted. We have stayed here about 10+ years ago and it wasn’t really that bad back then. At this price point quoted, I didn’t expect a 5 Star hotel, but I certainly didn’t expect the disgusting run down shell of a hotel this has become. I can elaborate in great detail, but suffice it to say aside from the overall smell and rundown feel, the feces on the bathroom door, broken door knobs/locks on all doors, rusty AC, moist floors, bags of garbage sitting in the hallways, and general UNSAFE feeling you get the moment you park your car in the dimly lit parking “lot”, it certainly was worse than I expected. We arrived at 2am to check in and checked out as soon as daylight came and we found another place. We couldn’t decifer where our stuff would be safer….in the room or in the car. Neither felt like a safe place. The desk clerk was dismissive when I told him we were not staying and acted as if this is normal operation. They charged me for the full 3 day reservation I made even though we were only there for literally a handful of hours. Not a prude here……we have certainly stayed in some less than desirable places for the cheaper rate. But this is awful.

When they gonna remodel the place. Just horrible run down and for the price of 100 a night is crazy. Other room doors was wide open. You can hear people in the next rooms clear as day. Tub wouldn't drain properly. Why the water yellow? Fridge didnt work. Two sheets and a purple cover in between is crazy.

Decent.
It was a decent stay, had probably the loudest room right by the exit door to their parking lot. The rooms needed a little updating, and need a little more attention to detail. Found lots of trash debris like chips and cookie crumbs on the floor. My key card kept on getting deactivated, had to walk to the front desk several times.
