Zagreb is a must visit! It's affordable and very kid friendly. So many museums and lots to do. The choice of restaurants is amazing and the food is really good. The walking tours are wonderful. The city is very walkable but the tram service is fab.

Interesting for a stay of a day or two - but less appealing that most other European cities. Zagreb is rather run-down and is somewhat lacking in architectural beauty and variety. Many things are still damaged or closed due to the 2020 earthquake.

Loved Zagreb. Spent 4 days over New Years - the town had a great buzz in the evenings. I'd recommend going on a food tour and the Communisim and homeland tour - incredibly interesting. Loads of museums, great food, great for a city break.

Zagreb is still suffering the effects of the earthquake it experienced a few years ago. It will take some time before reconstruction issues are resolved.

A memorable place with great history. Lots of reconstruction so no passage to some churches. Easy walkable city.

The downtown area was really cute with lots of restaurants, bars and retail stores but there were several areas where stores were closed on a Saturday night which seemed unusual.

Interesting places to visit. Beautiful architectural buildings though some under major renovations (ex cathedral). Many outdoor cafes and restaurants.

So many of the museums and churches are still closed for reconstruction after the 2020 earthquake, but still a great town for walking, food and drinks.
"Located minutes from a major square and many shops, this hotel is incredibly quiet for being so close to such major hotspots in a big city. The hotel breakfast is far and away the most expansive in terms of variety and delicious I’ve ever had and the rooms are very comfy with lots of space, a comfy bed and very nice bathrooms featuring a deep tub/shower. Highly recommend!"
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent and the room was very spacius and comfortable. The hotel is very elegant. We will we could have stayed much longer."
"The hotel is within two minutes working distance to old town Zagreb. Staff is friendly and rooms are recently renovated. I would recommend art’otel to anyone who plans to visit Zagreb."
"We couldn’t fault our stay at Zonar Zagreb, we were able to use the pool after our early flight before our room was ready and the staff were so helpful taking our bags for the day. The room itself was very clean and fresh, and super modern. The only downside is it is slightly far out of town, however taxis into town were only around €3/4 so not too big off an issue."
