Monterey is one of our yearly "get out of town" get aways. I love the area. Full of activities. Biking, hiking, exploring, kayaking, and lots of nature to be observed. There seems to be something for everyone in this area. (Laguna Seca - MotoAmerica)

Absolutely love Monterey! If you love wildlife and the water you will definitely see sea lions, and cute sea otters while having a yummy bowl of chowder at the many restaurants in the area that are on the ocean and even while walking along the trail.

Great city with a significant history as Monterey was once the capital of CA. The setting in some of John Steinbeck's novels. The best attraction is the aquarium. Good seafood and scenery. Near to Carmel by the sea and Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach.

Monterey is terrific and great to visit year round as the temperature is pretty much the same year round. There are loads of things to do. Plenty of activities and dining options. Live music venues. It is a really gorgeous area to visit.

Whale watching in Monterey never fails to deliver. Very fun and great views of dolphins, whales, sea otters, sea lions and sea birds. The beaches are always clean and a nice place to be.

Whale watching tour! Dozens of whales. Loved learning about sea life from the boat tour staff. Discovery Wale Watch was the charter we took. Great experience!
"In our opinion, this hotel was massively undersold in all descriptions and reviews we read about the place before we booked. Had a 5 star feel about it for sure. Rooms spacious, modern and very light. Facilities, location and staff 1st class. Family of four with teenagers stayed in July, wish we’d had another couple of nights.."
"They were very helpful and made sure to put our rooms as adjoining and made sure we had a tub and crib in the right room. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and the rooms were pretty big. I would definitely go back and i do recommend to families. "
"Perfect location for walking to the wharf or even Cannery Row. Great atmosphere to relax by the pool in between activities in town. Great restaurant with lovely ambiance at the hotel. If you are visiting a student at Middlebury In Monterey this is your place! The only negative was it was advertised on hotels.com as offering laundry services and it does not have laundry. Other than that we were happy with this room for the type of trip/stay we had planned. "
"Originally came here a few years back for a company kick-off.
We came here for a delayed anniversary weekend. The views and rooms are amazing and the hotel is right in the middle of everything great about Monterey. Great restaurants on every block, the ocean within reach, etc. Hard not to love this hotel."
"Awesome location to all Cannery Row stores and eats. Walkable path to all of that is right behind the hotel. Rooms were large and clean. Monterey is a great town. "
