The room was very noisy and felt unsafe since all of our windows faced the street and sidewalk and we could hear people walking and driving outside, the amenities were disappointing the room was just old and the ac was extremely loud and annoying. they also "upgraded" us from a king bed to two queens which was not an upgrade in my eyes since we didn't need two beds.

I needed to pee and I was two hours early for check in and the manager told me to come back at 3:00 pm which is the time to check in. He said tehre was no bathroom available. Had to go find a Mc Donalds to pee. I was checked in for two days and the manager told me that no one would clean my room on the second day. The people on the room seemed to be having sex most of the night and I could hear all of the moaning. Very exasperated but not the hotels fault. Other than that the hotel is in a good location and it is clean and kept in a pristine way and a good price.

Very affordable. Quiet and extremely clean. Within walking distance to the beach and attractions. The only bad is that the rooms and especially the bathrooms are very very small and cramped.

The Little Inn That Could.
We stood here for New Years 2022. Basic clean inn. Great 2 star hotel. Not a 3 star hotel. Everything was ok. Simple, clean. Very dated. All the inns in that row or block look old and dated. Next time, I’ll just find the best price. A/C worked, but very loud. The door handle was super hard to open. Low water pressure. Bed was clean, firm mattress, ok pillows. Carpet clean, but old. Area is not noisy. Near high traffic road, but not to noisy. Centrally located to Downtown Monterey. Very short drive to many things. Maybe not the best walking to Downtown Monterey. I could stay again, but now I would seek an Inn with a Pool and complimentary coffee in the lobby. This place comes with free parking and basic amenities.
