Area is generally good close to downtown however has homeless people around the park and sidewalk but they don't seem to bother people walking around so overall safe but have to be aware

If you have a concert or venu thats at the maverick center get a room its walking distances and you dont have to worrie about parking or long lines if you leave couple hours ahead of schedule

West Valley is a diverse middle-class area of SLC. I've never felt unsafe there.

I gave the facilities 4 stars only because the bathtub filled up while taking a shower. But, other than that, everything was well maintained and the property is beautiful. "

"I loved our stay. The rooms were really clean and the whole room is updated with a small kitchenette (which was a pleasant surprise). The beds were really comfortable and cozy. Area seemed safe even at night. Definitely great value. Ive paid more for less, so I was very satisfied with our stay. "
