"THE ATHENS GATE HOTEL WAS THE MOST AMAZING PLACE TO STAY IN ATHENS! IT WAS CONVENIENT TO THE PLAKA FOR SHOPPING AND TO THE ACROPOLIS AS WELL AS THE MEETING PLACES FOR TOURS WHICH WE HAD BOOKED. THE RESTAURANT ON THE ROOFTOP WAS NOT ONLY DELICIOUS FOR BREAKFAST AND DINNER BUT THE VIEW OF THE ACROPOLIS AND THE PARTHENON WAS AMAZING BOTH DURING THE DAY AND ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. THE STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMODATING WITH DIRECTIONS AND WITH SECURING A VAN FOR ALL OF OUR LUGGAGE TO TAKE US TO THE AIRPORT AT...

"Received wake up call when specifically asked NOT to receive one. It was at 1:00 am and so it was very disruptive to sleep. Not much of apology by front desk when we told them in the morning. Bar and restaurant service and food quality just average; too high prices for average quality. Rooftop pool and bar are nice. Excellent weight room and so unlike many European hotels, open 24 hours -Greatly appreciated!!!!"

"The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. They also offer luggage storage if you want to take a day trip or two day trip to one of the islands. The area around hotel was near to all main attractions. Breakfast was nice. For our trip we made two bookings and checked out in middle for Santorini. They stored our luggage safely. During our first stay, the room was on fourth floor which had a stale smell to it. The rooms itself were clean but there was a lingering bad...
