The Chatsworth is a very well located, clean boutique hotel with a friendly staff that makes you feel at home! The owner has maintained the charm of The Chatsworth while adding modern features in the rooms. We loved the restored original lift. Felt like stepping back in time.

This is a slightly tired hotel, some grubby areas and stained carpets in our room. Very poor breakfast (also very much overpriced) There are some friendly and helpful younger staff but the man who checked us out was so utterly rude and condescending. Room was large and clean (unfortunately stains on carpet but to be expected nowdays with tea and coffee facilities in room) Breakfast wasn't great, coffee machine not working properly on first day and the omelette at the "egg station" not good. Had poached eggs the next day and much better. Sausages looked enemic and overall hot food not great. Staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful and made stay better.
