Weak a/c, no English
I stayed here twice. This was the only hotel I found in China that actually spoke no English. Most of the staff was nice but one bad apple made things very unpleasant--when checking in, the receptionist first ignored us for 5 minutes while letting others go first, then (very deliberately) tried to charge 70 yuan extra, and then took about 15 minutes to run the credit card correctly. Infuriating. The a/c was pretty ineffective. On the plus side, the hotel seemed clean. The rooms (aside from the a/c) were nice, and the Dai breakfast was OK.
