The receptionist provided exceptional assistance to us. The hotel is conveniently located for our visit to the Moulin Rouge. Although the room is on the smaller side, it is clean and suitable for our needs. The bathroom, while lacking ventilation, is well-maintained with plenty of towels and a secure, comfortable bed. The hotel's unique decor adds to its charm and has garnered it a reputation. The complimentary buffet, offering tea, coffee, soft drinks, and mini cakes, is a nice touch. We will certainly consider staying at this hotel again, thanks to its welcoming service and efficient receptionist.

PROS: 1. The room is tidy and compact but still cozy and offers everything you may need. I couldn't get the Chromecast on my TV to work but it's nice they offered it. 2. The shower is nicely sized and relaxing 😌 3. They offer an open area to grab coffee, tea, and snacks until 2AM down in the lobby. 4. The minibars in the room are well stocked and generous with a can of Pepsi, bottle of apple juice, sparkling water, and a couple bottles of water. Mine was situated right next to the bed which made waking up and reaching down to grab a super cold bottle of water after a night out drinking a Godsend! 5. Smack dab in the heart of Montemartre and a 5 minute walk to the Moulin Rouge. You couldn't get any more walkable! CONS: 1. Although they say they're eco-friendly, leaving your towel hanging means nothing and housekeeping will swap it whether you need a clean one or not. Not a big deal, really. Just found it silly. 2. They say they have laundry amenities. THEY DO NOT! What they have is a laundry service down the street that will charge you an ungodly amount of money to wash your laundry for you. You may not want to go there and wash it at the laundromat yourself, because nobody wants to sit at a laundromat during their holiday, but if you have to then DO! I mistake of having my laundry done for me and it cost over €300! I should have had it done in London where they charged £6 per pound, but I assumed they had a laundry area at Joke Hotel because it was listed as an amenity.

This was a very nice clean hotel! The decorating is cute and friendly. I was very comfortable staying. It is located in a nice, busy part of town. I did not receive any VIP upgrades, nor did the hotel respond when I sent a message asking a question, prior to my trip.

The staff and facilities were excellent. The free mini bar (water, juice, sparkling water, soda) in the room was replenished every day. Snacks available all day long in the lobby from juice, coffee, sodas, and pastries. As an Expedia VIP, we also received tickets for the Seine River cruise and enjoyed it very much. Many options for dining and within 3 minutes walking from the Moulin Rouge. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay.
Yes, I would stay there again. I really enjoyed my stay at the Joke Hotel. It is an older hotel, but it has a lot of character. The hotel took excellent care of us. It is also close to the metro and attraction. I especially loved the treats they put out at 2 pm until 2 am. I called it my late night snack. I wish I took pictures of the set up, but it was very nice of them to do that.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. More than once i asked for help to get somewhere and they were mire than happy to help. I had previous reviews about the breakfast, but they did not do it justice! There were so many choices of breads, cheeses, fruits, juices, meats, and eggs and pancakes. So nice to eat hearty at my hotel before heading out for the day. My only complaint is that i could hear the uostairs guest stomping around and when they flushed their toilet :(. But, the room was the perfect size, the A/C worked well and the bedding was comfortable. If i ever get to return to Paris, i would stay here again.

We love Joke Astotel! Walking distance to Montmartre and Opera district. Bus 68 took us to all of our other attractions with no problem. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Shout out to Phillppe who was helpful during our checkout. Would definitely stay here again with my family.

This was one of the COOLEST hotels I have ever booked! As soon as we walked in, we had to be let in by a buzzer and was greeted by a lovely staff member who made us feel so at home after traveling all day. Overall fun experience! It was quiet in the hotel and very clean!
